Even though there hasn't been much activity on Xenyria lately, we still wanted to start providing monthly updates so that you all know what we've been up to and what's coming up next.

Even though there is still a long way to go, we have made some significant progress in the last several weeks. For example, we have revised numerous code files, reorganized several internal components, and documented many pieces of code. Additionally, in order to improve performance even more, we are working on dividing up the logic that powers PaintSquad and moving matches and lobbies to other servers.
We have also made changes to our localization system, which included a number of poorly developed components. Additionally, we have greatly simplified the process of adding dynamic strings, making modifications to strings, and adding other languages in future updates.
To accommodate the new modifications in our codebase, we also had to completely overhaul our UI system and interface builder. These changes will be the topic of a future behind-the-scenes post on our developer blog.
Unfortunately, we are still not at a state where we feel comfortable sharing a release date, but don't worry ‒ we're working hard to bring PaintSquad back as soon as possible.
Additionally, we launched a new website in October, which will let users learn more about Xenyria and provide a place for players to read about news, events, and updates. The website is still in its infancy and will undergo a number of updates to ensure it to be fully integrated with the Xenyria experience. We've already released a changelog page, RSS feeds, our developer blog, a language picker, and more since the initial release, and we have a ton more planned for the future.
Additionally, we have released a new credits page on November 30th that lists everyone involved in Xenyria - both current and former.
Christmas is in December, and this time we have something ready. But you will have to wait a bit for more details. We will have more to share within the next few days.
In addition, we are certain to move forward with the PaintSquad rework and release a new recap around the start of January.
